Kailash in Tibet when he staggered into a guest house from the -10 degree weather and was literally rejuvenated by a creamy cup of yak butter tea. I know that there are low carbers out there who seldomly drink coffee and would like the same blend but replacing coffee with a good substitute. Celeste's low carb hot chocolate
If you are unable to locate Kerrygold butter, any good quality grass fed butter will do. As long as its unsalted, it will be fine :) This recipe makes two mugs of low carb hot chocolate.
Celeste's low carb hot chocolate ingredients:
- 3 flat tsp organic cacao powder (or regular cocoa powder)
- 1 heaped tbs Kerrygold butter
- Half tsp vanilla essence
- 250ml thick cream
- 220ml boiling water
